Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Kervalta Software Systems handles when you visit kervalta.io, and why. The short version: this is a plain informational website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and collects nothing about you unless you choose to email us. The only data created by your visit is the standard technical record every web server keeps, described below.
Who we are
kervalta.io is operated by Kervalta Software Systems ("Kervalta", "we", "us"), a corporation incorporated federally in Canada and based in Ontario. Kervalta is the organization accountable for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@kervalta.io.
What we collect, and what we don't
We want to be exact about this, because "we value your privacy" usually precedes a list of trackers. Here there is no such list.
Cookies and tracking — none
This website does not use cookies. It does not use analytics (no Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar), advertising pixels, session recording, fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Our fonts and images are served from this site itself, not loaded from a third party that could observe you.
Information you send us
The site has no forms and no accounts. If you email hello@kervalta.io, we receive whatever you put in that message — your email address, your name if you sign it, and anything you write — and we use it only to read and reply. We keep that correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and for our ordinary business records, and no longer than is reasonable for those purposes.
Server and hosting logs
Like every website, kervalta.io is delivered by hosting and content-delivery infrastructure that automatically records technical information about each request so the site can be served and kept secure. This can include your IP address, the type of browser and device you use (the "user-agent"), the pages or files you requested, and the date and time. Under Canadian privacy law an IP address can be personal information, so we disclose this plainly.
We use these logs only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site — for example to detect abuse or diagnose an outage. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else to identify you. They are retained for a limited period by our providers and then discarded.
Our service providers
We keep the stack deliberately small. The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure and delivered through the Cloudflare content-delivery network, which also protects it from abuse. These providers process the technical request data described above on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where your information is processed
Our providers operate globally, so the technical data your visit generates may be processed or stored on servers located in Canada or the United States. When information is handled outside Canada it may be accessible to the courts and authorities of that country under their laws. By using the site you understand that this processing may occur; we work only with established providers that maintain recognized security and data-protection standards.
Your rights
Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you rights over your personal information. You may:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and request access to it;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent to our handling of it, subject to legal or contractual limits; and
- ask us to delete correspondence you have sent us, where we are not required to keep it.
To exercise any of these, email hello@kervalta.io. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here; please check back if privacy matters to your decision.
